The Blue Army has been ordered to take the bridge, whilst also holding the town. The Blue General is unaware of the other two crossing points (fords marked here by trees).
Army Red is initially only represented by one unit that is guarding the bridge.
To win, an Army must hold both the bridge and the town.

ReplyDeleteLooks like Blue was a tough cookie, and his cavalry on the bridge excelled…in the early stages I thought the flanking move via the ford was going to catch him out. How did you deal with the Blue player being unaware of the fords, as a solo player?
Thanks Martin. Blue just had to focus on the bridge and I had to pretend the fords weren't there, until I put my Red hat back on

ReplyDeleteI probably played far too defensively but was using PW rules here. With OHW rules there's more scope to take loads of casualties!
